Artificial gravity is a piece of technology used on various spaceships and space stations. It allows them to maintain habitable conditions for the crew aboard.
All Goa'uld, Wraith, Ancient, Asgard and Tau'ri vessels have this technology. It seems to be very reliable as it continues to function even on seriously crippled ships. This might be related to the fact no power is required to generate gravitational fields.(SGA: "First Contact")
