Artificial Intelligence is the intelligence of machines and the branch of computer science which aims to create it. Many, if not all, androids and machines that can think independently are run by an AI.
Technologies
Many advanced technologies contain an artificial intelligence of some form - only those with a significant A.I. programs are listed here

Wraith
- The Wraith created a computer virus which possessed an A.I capable of controling a ship and making tactical desisions about how to take full control.
Asgard
- In a similar way to Altairan Androids, Asgard computers can process a human (or Asgard) mind, but the Asgard have not been seen to create any artificial conciousnesses of their own.
Replicators
- The Replicators possessed massivly complex artificial intelligence programs which allowed them to work as a group to achieve goals such as taking over ships, constructing their own, and advancing their own technology by analysing any new technology they found. Presumably by analysing remnants or plans of Asurans, the replicators were able to create their own seemingly identical nanite bodies.
Minor races
- Altairan Androids can process a digital copy of a human mind, but have not been shows to run with any man-made A.I. programs.
- The Sakari artificial intelligence was incredibly advanced. Not only could it simulate human behaviour, but it could access the minds of others and judge their probable responses to situations.
