Apophis' face plate

Apophis' face plate was a facial covering worn by Apophis.

Overview[]

It was made of naquadah, gold and ebony. The naquadah and gold pieces were both etched with scribe lines. The bottom piece, below the eye, had naquadah scribe lines that had gold inlay. The top piece above the eye had a gold-plated section and an ebony inlay.^[1]

History[]

At some point after the Tau'ri turned Apophis over to Sokar, Apophis' host face was disfigured. After his escape he wore the face plate to cover it. (SG1: "Serpent's Song", "Jolinar's Memories", "The Devil You Know", "The Serpent's Venom", "Exodus")
