History[]
Anubis' Ha'tak was used by Osiris in an attack against the Asgard planet Adara II which was defended by a Biliskner-class ship commanded by Thor. The Ha'tak was able to withstand the Ion guns of Thor's ship and use it's upgraded weapons to destroy the ship with the help of two other Ha'taks, presumably with technological upgrades similar to the ones it had. Thor attempted to escape to the planet but was captured and Anubis probed his mind. SG-1 was able to infliltrate the ship and lower the shields so Heimdall could beam Thor's body to their Tel'tak but Anubis detected their escape and cut them off. The vessel was forced to retreat from the planet when three O'Neill-class ships came to defend the planet. However, Thor's entire consciousness was linked to the ship's computers. (SG1: "Revelations")
Thor began to take control of the vessel and lock the crew out of the computer core. Anubis decided to evacuate the vessel and activate the self-destruct but Thor was able to halt the self-destruct and take the ship to hyperspace and traveled to Earth. Colonel Jack O'Neill, Major Samantha Carter, Major Paul Davis, Dr. Friesen, and Jacob Carter boarded the ship. After gaining access to the computer core, Jacob was attacked by surviving Jaffa who set the ship on a collision course with the Earth and destroyed the controls before trying to escape on the Tel'tak. Unable to stop their descent and the Tel'tak's Transportation rings damaged, SG-1 was forced to stay on the ship as it crashed into the Pacific Ocean. After removing Thor's consciousness from the computer, the self-destruct reactivated but the team on board was able to escaped in a Mini submarine or Death Glider before the ship blew. (SG1: "Descent")
Specifications[]
This Ha'tak vessel looks like all other known Ha'taks. It differs only in terms of technology, specifically weapons and shields which were suspected to be upgraded using the limited Ancient technology to which Anubis has access to, thanks to his half-ascended nature. However, as it turned out, he was fully ascended, but not allowed to use his full powers or knowledge, so he may not have been able to use any ascended knowledge in their construction. (SG1: "Revelations")
Unlike other Goa'uld Ha'taks, the interior of Anubis Ha'tak had no hieroglyphs on the hallways, nor any decorative objects at all on the Pel'tak. This may be because, when designing his ship's interior, Anubis might have used some foreign ship designs and style that he gained knowledge of (possibly from ascension), though whether this is true or not is unknown. (SG1: "Revelations", "Descent")
Shields[]
The shields on this Ha'tak might be upgraded using information Anubis obtained while he was ascended. As he was not allowed to make use of anything he would not know or do as a Goa'uld, he may have simply used other Goa'uld that he knew were capable of creating new technologies, when applied in the right way, to create the technology, merely using his ascended knowledge to be more aware of others capabilities, knowing if they are useful or not. This vessels shields can now withstand weapons fire from Asgard Biliskner-class ship without taking any damage. These upgraded shields would most likely be no match against the more advanced O'Neill-class ships. These shields are incapable of resisting Ancient Drone weapons. (SG1: "Revelations", "Lost City, Part 2")
Staff cannons[]
The Staff cannons on this Ha'tak were also upgraded, allowing them to take down the shields of an Asgard Biliskner-class ship and destroy the vessel using the element of surprise, with help from one other Ha'tak, though it is unknown whether the other Ha'tak was also upgraded. (SG1: "Revelations")
