2003
When Anubis discovered Langara by probing Jonas Quinn's mind, he was assigned to make the Naquadria stable. When he powered one of the weapons with this new source, he said there was an overload and not long afterwards, the weapon exploded. Anubis' right-hand man, Her'ak later killed the unnamed Goa'uld Lieutenant by shooting him fatally with a single blast from Her'ak's own staff weapon which served as a lesson to others that Anubis did not tolerate failure of any kind.
