An Anthropologist is a scientist who studies aspects of humanity, such as their cultures, society, evolution, religion and ancient objects.
Research areas[]
There are various fields of anthropology:
- Archaeology studies the past through recovery and analysis of artifacts, architecture and the like.
- Biological anthropology deals with evolutionary ancestry and biological and behavioral aspects.
- Sociocultural brings together both cultural and social anthropology. Cultural deals with philosophy, literature and art. Social studies relationships, customs, laws and religion.
- Linguistic anthropology studies how language affects social life.
- Ethnography is social research that explores culture and social interactions from the viewpoint of the subject.
