  • Following Kawalsky's death and on Colonel Jack O'Neill's recommendation, Teal'c becomes the fourth and final member of SG-1, resulting in SG-1 officially becoming a four-man team. (SG1: "The Enemy Within")
  • On the planet Simarka (P3X-593), SG-1 made first contact with the Shavadai, a race of Mongol-like warriors who operated by a strict code, which included a lowly status for women. (SG1: "Emancipation")
  • SG-1 traveled to the planet Gaia and made first contact with the Nox. An advanced humanoid race, with amazing healing powers and the capability to make things invisible. (SG1: "The Nox")
  • SG-1 explored the planet Argos and made first contact with the Argosians. An ancient Minoan based civilization, whose age was accelerated by nanotechnology, until SG-1 destroyed the technology and allowed the Argosians to live years instead of 100 days. (SG1: "Brief Candle")
