The .50 Cal Auto Turret was a fully automatic cannon that was used by Stargate Command scientists roughly two years after the Fall of the Ori. (Stargate Resistance)
Overview[]
The turret was able to be deployed with a CADs mk 4.[1]

It would fire on the closest target, regardless if that target was unaffected by its bullets, such as a Goa'uld with Hardesh shield.[3] It also couldn't target Ashrak while they were cloaked[1] with a Reetou Karesh.[4]
It had a limited range[1] and was vulnerable to Ma'Tok staff blasts,[5] as well as attacks from the back due to the rear containing delicate electronics.[4]
