I have been rewatching sg-1 and will start atlantis soon but it is so hard to remember who is alive and dead at the end of the series. Maybourn, Todd, Michael, Kinsey, Q from Star Trek(Simmons), etc. They had some good reoccurring characters.
I would need to check in w/Keller, Zelenka, and Mckay before I sign off on that;)
Agree. But they also only use cannabilism as a last resort. Not the preferred meal of choice.
Think about it, theyre not really into galactic domination(although they kind of have it by default). They are about food supply and maintaining their species, not directly as they do not seem to care much for each other but in the sense that they maintain hives and do not let any human populations advance technologically. They tend to their herds, they “farm”.
I think it boils down to this:
Aschen - Genocidal
Eurodands - Racists
Wraith - Farmers???
Genocide vs racism is a hard argument to pick either side....
Would be interesting to see if the stoic Aschen suddenly started displaying some emotions as the life was being drained from them.
I think he dies when they meet the Furlings as well. :)
I am sorry, I am confused by your response. The replicators are very different from the Aschen, what is the connection you are trying to make?
How would the Aschen deliver the weapon to Wraith controlled worlds? I guess they could use the gate on the Volian home world but would it be capable of dialing the Pegasus galaxy and if it could the Aschen do not have the information required to dial. And they would most likely need a zpm. Not impossible but improbable. Based on the original question i was envisioning 8 hive ships floating over the Aschen home world and unloading boat loads of darts.
Like a full on Wraith invasion with several Hive ships? That would be tough for most planets to fight off unless they had some kind of planetary wide defense system but we saw an advanced race like the Tollan’s ion cannon’s fail against the goa’uld‘s That led to their demise. We also know the Aschen are advanced but dont know much about how their technology plays in space since we only saw all interactions on planet surfaces.
I always thought they could do another movie to wrap up Atlantis and/or a sg1 movie w/all of the people they brought to earth that we never saw again. Like the teen Jack clone, Cassandra, the archaeologist, the weird kid who’s parent's died on the beach, etc. they are just hangin around and atlantis is in the bay area. Maybe these folks live on atlantis or area 51 now.
I think once the person regains consciousness you could zat them again without killing them but it would vary person to person and not something you would want to try multiple times. At times it appeared that members of sg1 grew a tolerance for getting zatted and/or recovered from the effects of a zat if they saw it coming vs getting zatted in the back. Then they would be out until at least the next scene which usually started w/them waking up from the previous zatting.
