Stargate: Atlantis

So I had this thought, would it be possible to use the Wormhole Drive as a method of achieving time travel?

Personally, I didn't like the guy.

To be honest, Michael's Crusade would had been successful one way or another. Only reason to why he failed, was that he was his worst enemy.

As the Atlantis Expedition did just

kick his hand off the ledge, for him to plummet downward towards the city below.

Bluntly, I agree with Jack about how they did trick Fifth. When they could not risk on having him leave.

Jack was also right on preventing Alar escaping to Earth. That felt strange the look that Sam gave to Jack after ordering the iris to be closed after him.

I don't remember much else from the episode, except the team find a seemingly human woman on some mission - and when examining her on Atlantis they discover her body is "perfect" in a cellular way - absolutely no minor imperceptible scarring or damage that all human beings have from simply the gentle wear & tear of normal life - no evidence of any skinned knees or anything - so that fact clues them into the fact that she wasn't actually human, but was an fabricated avatar or being made to communicate with humans - I think..

Any clue as to what episode I'm talking about? - I know it was Atlantis - I think an earlier season, but not sure - I'm trying find that specific scene for a presentation.

My personal opinion is that the goa'uld will be fine in taking a Wraith as host, now say this wraith is one that's been alive since the time of when they were at war with the Atlantians 10,000 years prior.

And lets also say the goa'uld obtains an queen Wraith.

My idea in how a goa'uld would possibly get into an Wraith is during an feeding as the symbote leaves the body, and embeds itself within an Wraith.

Then there is the blending that takes place, of course this isn't the first time that a Goa'uld has taken another creature as host. as we know the Unas were the first ones, so the Goa'uld say.

Anyway while this Goa'uld takes the wraith as host, the Goa'uld extracts all the knowledge of it's host, this includes everything from their tech to their Physiology, then what intel they have on Atlantian weapons and tech.

The Wraith are probably a superior species for any Goa'uld as they not only have a rich history with the Atlantians, but they also have a rich history of their own and the obvious boost in their physical strength and resilience over any Human body the goa'uld have ever been apart of. and are probably comparative to the Unas in strength and resilience, but because we know an Atlantis scientist created the Wraith with the use of human DNA and that eratus bug DNA, this is also probably due to how the Wraith were so advanced in their tech.

The Atlantian scientist was probably trying to create a human body that had all these traits so he could transform the rest of Atlantian DNA to be resistant to the plague at home, and i have to admit it's quite brilliant, but of course something went wrong with his experiments, perhaps he gave them too high of an intelligence and because of their physical strength they killed him and fed on him and that was that.

Anyway, going back to the Goa'uld, this would be an superior host for the Goa'uld if they ever wanted an comeback or gain a foothold ever again.

Imagine what their style of tech would represent after the blending and taking over the mass of the Wraith armies after a generation of this Goa'uld, i believe his ultimate Goal would be one in the same as the Wraith was.

To feed and enslave and to be as gods like the Goa'uld have been doing for thousands of years. and they know where to go to find more humans because of their genetic memory.

The lifespan of a Goa'uld was already pretty long, but if within an wraith body, they would boost that life span by 10,000 fold because of the Wraith's natural physiology provides it.

I think it was Dr. Beckett who was inspecting an Wraith arm that was severed, that an creature such as this so long as it was properly nourished meaning as long as they feed, they could probably never die, then boost that with how long a Goa'uld's natural physiology lasts as well as their natural resilience within the host they are within.

Anyway, what do you guys think of how this scenario could pan out?

Note i started this as an what if question, but in my head i was thinking that the folks on earth didn't know about any of it until generations later, as it was too late as the Wraith started to take over the milky way galaxy with their new found power and army.

And if it wasn't just some random Goa'uld behind the steering wheel, what Goa'uld do you personally think would be daring enough to try and attempt blending with an Wraith?

I typically don't dive so deep into a series to read the books, like Star Wars. I tend to like to imagine the show/movies are the only true canon.

But... I love Stargate haha. Does anyone have any opinions? Are they worth spending the time reading? If so, any particular books to recommend?

i have an theory that there are other stargate seeding ships similar to the SGU seed ships, still seeding planets and galaxies outside of their original perspective solar systems. for both the milky way styled gates and the Pegasus style gate systems.

they did this with SGU and the other seeding ships, why not with these other seed ships?

not to mention how many other galaxies could there be stargates within,

in SGU it was above 49 galaxies if i remember correctly, but the possibility's of the milky way styled gates as well as the Pegasus styled gate systems are more than likely seeded within many more galaxies. it would be silly for the alteran to only keep these gate systems only within their perspective galaxies and just stop right there.

if you look at an galaxy, there are all possible routs of an neighboring galaxy's that could exist in all directions. destiny and the seed ships that were sent before it were all sent on their path as predetermined based on the programmed rout of the seed ship or ships sent before it.

but there are galaxies all around our own within either direction, so it's possible that the second version of stargates are also still being seeded till this day, just like the seed ships that were sent out before destiny.

I would also consider that the Technology has advanced possibly a few thousand years since the first version of stargates existence, so the seed ships could be considerably faster and more advanced than the SGU seed ships, as well as the SGA seed ships.

the only example i know of that supports this theory points to the Asgard home world in the Ida galaxy, as it appears to be of the same model as the Milky Way network of gates.

While, now and then, logically speaking of time travel does appear to make sense. Like in the episodes Before I Sleep and Unending. Although, the episodes from the future mostly seemed off. Like in The Last Man and 2001.

Like how John was given the information from the Hologram McKay and when the note from 2010. When the timelines changed. Could that be assumed the memories of the events wiped out?
