Sometimes, I have wondered if the iris got welded shut on the stargate after being pressured by the extreme heat. So they had to peel off the old iris to put in a new iris.

Saw this news article and wonder why they have a photo of ZPM.

So I have been wondering. Could the Aschen Civilization be immortal or very long lifespan from a non-sabotaged version of their anti-aging vaccine?

Normally I wouldn't touch this type of game, however recently something just happened, people started talking about this new device called the steam deck, this steam deck device I am actually personally excited about, because I have games like this timekeepers game being developed for Stargate that should play well for this type of gaming device.
A little while ago I purchased a game called Homeworld off of steam, well I tried to play the game but I am a person who cannot stand using keyboard and mouse and I thought at the time that all I needed to do was to use a controller software and just create my own bindings, well long story short that didn't pan out as good as I thought it would, now with steam's steam deck I believe that problem will be a thing of the past, anyway I got that game because I saw someone on YouTube playing some mods that had Stargate stuff in them, I actually bought the game because it had a mod that I would have liked to enjoy for Stargate.
So when this Stargate timekeepers game comes out, I will be excited to try it out with the steam deck, right now the steam deck doesn't function with every single game and the entire network of steam, but given enough time and updates, that device will get over the years and possibly even by the time this Stargate timekeepers game comes out, I believe it'll be a better experience.
Anyway what will you guys do when this game comes out?
Now in the show we knew what the Ori supergate looked like, and all the rest of the gates in the series, however we have never seen on screen or off screen what the Ori stargate looks like, so i decided to take this opportunity to present what it could possibly look like based on their style in the show, starting with their version of transporter rings.
Now what i imagined was a possibly milky white ring design, with perhaps an irony white look, i also believe when they activate their stargate that it resembles their insignia that we often see all over their architecture like for example anything from their symbols of clothing of jewelry to the style of the Ori ships interior to their ring transporters.
I was able to present a few photos of the rings that i had to edit to bring out the symbols and reduced fog as i wanted to present these symbols as the very same symbols that they would use to dial their version of stargates.
We already know they have their own version of the gate travel within their galaxy, otherwise how would the first prior come out of a milky way gate to begin with as seen in the show?
Not to mention how they built the supergate by sending smaller objects through their gate to fly through a milky way gate that was established on a beachhead planet.
We also see this symbolism on the Doci, as he wears that device around his neck and and is taken under control by the Ori.
Anyway what do you guys think?
Going back in time within the story here.

So Anubis wanted to do the same thing the Alterans did, except that he wanted to murder an entire galaxy using the Dakara weapon for his own reasons.
It seems illogical to make this decision at first glance, so what could have been his possible motive, other than him being an evil goa'uld with a black and white personality?
I can only speculate it's something he's learned through the Alterans during his time with the ascended Others and what he needs to do in order to maintain his foothold of the galaxy.
from what i understand, Anubis knows nothing about the Ori, but at the same time it's possible that he does know about them and how they maintained their power by using people as worshippers, it could be that he was going to use it as a possible bargaining chip for the Ori and take out the Others along the way and then use the Dakara platform to repopulate the galaxy as the Dakara device has been known to be capable of and using the new population to gain his ascended power like the Ori do.
Or perhaps he was planning to recreate the circumstances of how the Ori came to power and create his own rule and priors to overthrow the Others.
The originally planned video game of Stargate Alliance was supposed to be a continuation of Anubis's story within the show, without knowing what that story was about, it's possible that this was one of the routes that the show was going to provide in the form of a video game.
Also, what was the purpose of Anubis's clone body of himself, named Khalek? is it possible to clone yourself to worship yourself i wonder? it sounds silly, but it's a possible outcome right?
Khalek was created with abilities almost identical to the Prior's of the Ori, so it's possible this could have been the motivation in why this clone of himself was created.
What do we know of Anubis? he clones his own Jaffa army in the form of Kull Warriors to only serve him through his Queen's design, these warriors are programed by the Queen to serve Anubis, so it's possible that they can also be programmed to worship him as well.
While Anubis is speaking to Ba'al
"First i will retake Dakara, then I will destroy every living thing in the galaxy, including you, all at once"
"You have no way of knowing what is necessary, and what is not in My Grand design" Anubis.
But of course we don't get this information in the show's story, but this is what i think of Anubis's possible motives, what do you guys think on this part of the story?
What do you think it's like within the ascended realm or realms?
So i'm just bringing up a topic for topic's sake because this page is a ghost town, and it needs some kind of engagement.
Besides, from the brief scene that we from the episode Unending and couple of mentions from here and there. We didn't get a Christmas Episode.
Hi everybody
I am wanting to get into StarGate but have no idea where to start. Can someone offer some advice?
Thanks 👍

They both go great while reading stargate novels or fanfictions.
