Forgive me but a track record of multiple productions by Amazon suggests that it will end up destroying Stargate as Disney destroyed Star Wars. However I do hope against hope you are right.

Always have hope NEVER go into a show expecting it to be bad. I think the premise of it being a military show sets up an easy continuation series, but also I have no problem with a reboot.

If the show would be a continuation, which could mean that some of these stories could be reused. I am not saying they would be, but there is still a chance.

So I had a thought of this could be happening in the new show.
