Teal’c was sent to the Atlantis base in an X-305 fighter to bring the schematics of the X-305 for instructions to build the advanced fighter there. The Atlantis Expedition immediately began to build X-305s which all they had to do was upload the schematics to the base computer in the construction bay then it would begin replicating with the help of nanites that die and collect outside the fighter forming a solid metal cube after their program was completed. There were 50 advanced X-305s that had fully operational Hyper Drives, Asgard transporters, Stargate operator (can access any Stargate, Goa’uld weapons, missile launchers, and all of the usual Earth F-16 weaponryA week after they had the 50 X-305s built, USS Daedalus appeared in parallel orbit around the Atlantis base planet. Colonel John Sheppard hailed the vessel but no one answered any communication from Atlantis. Sheppard took his team to the Daedalus using a Puddle Jumper while Teal’c and Ronon took their X-305 fighters and followed them and as soon as Sheppard, and his team including the X-305s landed their perspective vessels all landed in the shuttle bay, the Daedalus disappeared. The X-305s landed next to the two Puddle Jumpers, one was from their Atlantis and the other one was from a different reality. Sheppard told them that they haven’t seen anyone who came on the other Puddle Jumper yet but they’re still looking around. They fought their duplicates from another reality laying around lying like they were killed in a fight. They never found a duplicate of Teyla, however they found a duplicate of Doctor Carson Beckett laying down bleeding from a knife wound in his abdomen. Sheppard thought Beckett was dead until he started to move and they quickly jumped to his aid while Rodney was trying to repair the Daedalus’ Hyper Drive. They managed to save Beckett but he remained unconscious for hours. Rodney told the others to hurry down to the engine room because he had something very interesting to show them. He told the others that the reason they kept jumping around was because the Daedalus had something called a Reality Drive which the controls were stuck until he fixed them, he just needed to figure out how to get back to their reality. He turned one of the control dials and the Daedalus appeared in a radically different reality where they were near a space-station.
Captain Sheridan, the station commander, hailed the Daedalus to inquire about who they were and what they needed in their space because they did not recognize the type of ship they were on. Colonel Sheppard told Sheridan who he was at the same time that communication was proceeded, Rodney said the ship’s Reality Drive was repaired. Captain Sheridan allowed the Daedalus to dock at the station he said was Babylon 5 when he opened communications with Colonel Sheppard.
Sheppard asked Sheridan if they had access to a doctor because they had a comrade that needed medical assistance and that they managed to stabilize his condition, Sheridan told Sheppard to dock his ship and they will have a medical team standing by. They docked and disembarked off the Daedalus carrying Dr. Beckett who they passed on to the medical team. They headed to the station’s command center where Sheridan requested to talk to Colonel Sheppard. Teal’c and the rest of the team passed by aliens of all different sizes, shapes and colors with many of them interacting with each other as if it were a normal day. Colonel Sheppard continued on to Captain Sheridan’s office while Teal’c and the others went to the local cantina for something to eat and drink. They waited for Sheppard to return for the most part but Teal’c and Ronon went exploring around the station to see what they could find. Teal’c and Ronon bumped into Ambassador Molari of the Centauri who was intrigued by Teal’c’s golden forehead plate.
Meanwhile Colonel Sheppard went to B5’s medical center to check up on Carson after speaking with Captain Sheridan. Teyla, and Rodney still waited for Colonel Sheppard to meet them at the cantina where they were approached by Ambassador G’kar of the Narn. He was curious about the 2 new Humans he saw so he went over to speak with them.
G’Kar had an ulterior motive in engaging with the strangers as well, he had stolen a new Drazi technology and he needed a way to get it away from the station to give to his government. It was a prototype brooding pod that could grow a hundred new soldiers at a time, only 2 volunteers were needed to develop 50 soldiers a piece with randomized DNA of their volunteer. Each 50 had a complete memory record of the volunteer assigned to their group and they would also have all of that person’s skills and experience integrated in their minds with randomized names assigned to all one hundred taken from the attached cultural database. G’kar wanted to use the prototype technology to raise up an army of Narn to takeover the Centauri territories once and for all but the Drazi planned to use it in their political battles. It was amazingly small for what it was but G’kar needed to hide it quick so he signaled one of his men in the distance to start a fight for a distraction. He hid the device in Rodney’s bag when he and Teyla were watching the fight.
Colonel Sheppard recalled his people back to the Daedalus including Dr. Carson Beckett from a different reality that was like their own with a few minor differences. The Drazi discovered that their new prototype was stolen and Sheridan was trying to settle the diplomatic dispute between the Drazi who had video footage of an unknown Narn who did the actual stealing of the prototype for G’kar. He however denied all knowledge of the theft publicly but sent orders to one of his operatives to get the stolen technology back from the Humans on the Daedalus.
A Narn soldier tried to board the Daedalus but Ronon and Teal’c fought him, knocking into Dr. McKay. Rodney fell to the floor dropping something unusual from his bag that looked somewhat similar to a rubrics cube with half of it being red and the other half was blue. He picked it up twisted it, and it divided in two with both halves having an expandable headband and 50 cubes of the same color of the half they came from. Ronon and Teal’c subdued the Narn soldier while Dr. McKay linked his tablet to the red half to diagnose the type of technology it was. He put the red band on and Ronon put the blue band on. All of the cubs glowed and levitated; the red ones scanned Rodney and the blue ones scanned Ronon. All of the cubes separated, landed in a grid format (7ft by 4ft apart and grouped by color) and each cube expanded into rectangular boxes the size of coffins while Rodney and Ronon laid unconscious. The boxes began to open up after a few minutes and when the people inside them came out, they returned back to their original sizes and reformed back to the red and blue halves. There were 98 new Humans (49 males and 49 females) and 2 new Narn (1 male and 1female). 50 of the new Humans had all of Dr. McKay’s knowledge, experience and skills as their own baseline minds. 48 of the new Humans and the 2 new Narn had all of Ronon’s knowledge, experience and skills as their own baseline minds. Apparently when the blue half of the cube scanned Ronon it also scanned the foreign DNA from the Narn soldier’s blood that spilled on Ronon during their fight and as a built in default protocol it made an exact genetic duplicate of that person but with the same baseline mind as the others in his group and made a randomized female version of the same species with the same knowledge and skills as the rest of the blue section.
Daro and Juphar (2 of the new Humans from Ronon’s half) escorted the Narn soldier off the ship while Rodney’s half helped him recreate the same Drazi prototype technology using the Asgard creation computers on the Daedalus. Colonel Sheppard waited for Rodney and his team to duplicate the device and then he brought it to the station’s captain so he could return the original. Sheppard returned back to the Daedalus and assigned the new 100 crewmen to various stations aboard the ship then he had them prepare to leave. One of the 50 from Rodney’s half, V’nor McAllen was put in charge of engineering including the Reality Drive. They set the Reality Drive to extremely different varieties of different realities because he wanted to collect more advanced technologies to bring back to their own reality. Dr. Beckett’s reality Atlantis and Earth were taken over and culled by the Wraith except for Sheppard and his team that found the Daedalus with the Reality Drive. Since his reality was so radically changed, he decided to stay with the team that found and saved his life. V’nor fixed the Reality Drive to where it not only changed realities, but it also changed locations and stores the coordinates when the drive is disengaged.
The Daedalus came out in Klingon space where Rura Pente in a reality and time when Captain Kirk and McCoy were being held as prisoners. There were frozen people on the planet on the outskirts of the prison colony where they were exiled to the surface and froze to death. Rodney used the ship’s Asgard transporter and beamed up a couple of the bodies that laid frozen around the perimeter for Dr. Beckett to examine them. While that went on, Rodney linked his tablet to the cube device and reprogrammed them to do as normal but he added that when a ring was placed on a dead body’s head, both have connect to whoever the wearer of the other ring. The device makes 99 new people with the knowledge, experience and skills of the living person and one duplicate mind with the dead one’s exact DNA. John Sheppard put the red band on then fell unconscious while the process completed. There were 100 new people created (50 humans and 50 Klingons) within a few minutes, one Klingon had the DNA of the dead Klingon with a duplicate mind of Colonel Sheppard.
The Klingon Colonel Sheppard was volunteered to open communications with the colony because he was the same species of most of the bodies that laid around the colony. The Daedalus crew didn’t know that the aliens were Klingon let alone that the one’s corpse they hooked up to the cube device was the younger brother of General Chang, named Captain Gorath. The Klingon jailer answered the call from the alien ship and as soon as he saw Sheppard he immediately addressed him as “Captain Gorath, how did you survive the cold?” The jailer then told him that his honor was restored because he was able to survive the last year outside the prison camp after he was exiled to the surface. Captain James Kirk, Dr.McCoy and the Comeloid escaped from the Rura Pente camp while the Klingon Sheppard was talking with the jailer who didn’t find out until they ended their conversation. Dr. Beckett was scanning the surrounding area for any life-signs when he discovered the 2 Humans leaving the camp and told Colonel Sheppard what he found. Sheppard told him to lock onto the Humans and beam them directly to the medical bay. Carson did just that and he hurried to the medical bay himself to render aid if needed. They reactivated the Reality Drive, but they wanted to stay in the same reality for now just a different location.
Dr. Beckett treated Dr. McCoy and Captain Kirk for frostbite and they were given temporary quarters on the Daedalus. A Vulcan core of engineers boarded the Daedalus to install a Warp Drive using a couple industrial replicators. Colonel Sheppard allowed them to install the Warp Drive but he also told them that all he needed was the coordinates to the Kitomer summit and he could use his Reality Drive to translocate there while staying in the same universe. The Daedalus translocated in parallel orbit around Kitomer and used their newly acquired Starfleet transporters to beam Kirk and McCoy down to save the Federation president from being assassinated
The Vulcan engineers retrofitted the entire ship so that it would all the same technology as the Enterprise but be more advanced because of the Daedalus’ Reality Drive and their cube technology.
