I have a question about the mastadges from the movie. Do you think they're descended from prehistoric earth animals, such as some sort of ice age mega fauna, or are they strictly extraterrestrial in origin.
Honestly I would have no clue. But it's certainly possible, even though this universe is involving the Goa'uld as they planted or took from the world's that they conquered, so it's possible this creature was something that existed on Earth or some other planet.
I like the topic, I just don't really have a whole lot to add on to it.
