If they just chose Brad right it would have been already on air. But no, Amazon has to do things the very hard way.

It's sad too, because Brad Wright already wrote a script for the show, in fact he has multiple different stories throughout the years that he thought about using.

But Amazon for whatever reason just hate him, and they want to change the story essentially reboot it, which is a terrible idea for a franchise that has a fan base like ours.

As passionate is this fan base is, we've never been able to get a decent video game because we are very particular about how that game should be same way with how the show should be, and most people would agree that they want Brad right at the helm and not some random person Amazon pics.

What? I don't want a Reboot, I want the continuation.

I'm guessing your out of the loop of discussion, unfortuantly it's found in a lot of diffrent places on the internet.

Amazon kicked brad out of the production because they want to go with their own writers and their own story for that matter, a lot of people are giving them pushback, but i don't think it's enough since not everyone is onboard.

Some people wouldn't mind a reboot, but i can't stress enough that reboots always end badly, or at least 99% of the time they end badly.

Some people have taken this discussion to places like twitter because it's where they will most likely get the most eyes on the discussion, some are in discord servers, and some are on youtube and some are on gateworld, but we keep getting somewhat continued updates on what is going on from various sources, and some come from rumors and some come from people who work at the studio of MGM or other sources,

I have mostly been going to gateworld youtube channel and another one called sci trek, the guy talks about a lot of shows, but mostly he talks about stargate, and he will talk about the information of what's going on regularly.

Well, I am not exactly out of the loop. However, not much of updated on what could happen. Well, if they did fire Brad. Guess, Amazon has doomed themselves by wasting funds on a failed attempt at Stargate Franchise.

I wouldn't mind a reboot but like you said it would have to hit a sweet spot that, let's be honest, took the original show a season and a half to hit. So, idk I think a new Startgate would honest fit nicely in the social and political conversation we have today. I mean Amanda temping portal of Sam was pretty forward thinking for the time.

But thats just me.
