IMO you should start with SGAtlantis, it was the one that got me hooked on stargate. SG1 provides some much needed backstory and concepts but it is incredibly boring for the first few seasons. SG universe was somewhat interesting but left more questions than answers and didn't really fit in with the other two shows. As far as the movies go I've only seen a couple but they were actually pretty good.

Movies.

If you want a great into to Stargate the Stargate movie is a great place to start. Next you would want to watch SG1, which dives even deeper into how the Stargate works and the different races of the universe.

At the end of season 7, if you want a bit of a change and a break from SG1, Stargate: Atlantis is introduced and is a great off shoot. The cast is awesome!

After that watch the rest of SG1, and the other 2 movies (Ark of Truth and Continuum)… as for Stargate Universe and Origins… Origins can be watched whenever. Universe can be watched last or not at all… in my opinion it was the worst series, very boring and too over dramatic.

- Movie = Great

- SG1 = Fantastic, loved it instantly

- Atlantis = Great, Took me a bit to get used to but loved it by the end

- Universe = Good, very different Vibe to prev Stargates but good in its own right

- Origins = Rubbish, don't get your expectations up

I misunderstood what he meant, i thought he meant that he wanted to know how to get into an acting career in stargate.

Don't watch the first ep of sg1, watch the Poliot Movie instead it better, plus the first ep shows nude which is no problem but Pilot is better either way
