Alrighty then. Well since I'm only talking to you at the current moment, what do you think of my idea of more seed ships still seeding except with the other versions of Stargate?
Reason I come to this conclusion is because there are at least six directions within the universe a star system can be found of galaxies in every direction.
So it's possible that the altarans sent out automated ships that went beyond the milky way as well as the Pegasus galaxies.
Try not to get confused here with destiny and the seed ships that were sent before that..
It's too bad we can't make our own filter on this topic. Because I'm sure there would be a giant community within this section.
I have so far run into a few fanfictions that look like they're worth reading on fanfiction.net but that website doesn't really allow a whole lot in the remains of discussion about any given story.
And that's what this format shines.
Honestly. I had not thought about SG1 for some while to have a clear answer. That was, until recently when I heard the talks about how Amanda was looking forward perhaps coming back on the new Stargate TV Show as a General.
Yeah I've been watching dial the gate on YouTube for the past year, it sounds like they're getting close to putting together some of the old team for the new show. Not sure about Richard Dean Anderson, or Chris judge. But Michael shanks has expressed about coming back. So who knows.
Who knows? Maybe, fans could get FanFiction as episodes.
Maybe, or maybe even turn the novels into actual full blown cannon episodes.
But I'm thinking they are going another route, some fans are convinced that Amazon will screw it all up due to woke politics.
They have legitimate concerns on this as more than a few shows and movies within the past decade have damaged the brand of the show or movie or even comic book, but they are also hopeful that Amazon won't screw it up due to their support in a possibility that the show will return in some capacity.
So I personally think it would be a great benefit to have the show come back, but if they add the woke politics, then they might as well do it in a very subtle way.
Because the idea is to not only get new fans as it broadens the audience, but it's also to keep the old fans as well. Don't want to damage the audience who already loves Stargate by abandoning their values and only going with the values of the new audience.
A lot of people have a likened it to 1990s Star trek is when they still talked about social issues that needed to be talked about, but it was done more subtly and less in your face trying to prove a point by forcing it down your throat.
Nobody likes being preached to especially when it comes to a show they like and want to support.
I think this is realistic given the audience the show already has.
Who knows?
If we can figure out who the admins, or brass of this fandom is, we could ask them to make a fanfic filter.
What do you think?
