No, naquadria came from Jones's planet. And naquda was the first version of the mineral.
Probably won't be that great if they recast everything and put Wokeism init.
Amazon has the resources to do great things with the SGU. they also have the ability to destroy it altogether. they may not even touch it. MGM has many franchises and series in its possession that may be of more interest to Amazon then a decade old series. I kinda hope they leave it as it is rather then destroy it.
@Cubbyman1 I meant the point in my post, in SGU they say it's natural while in SG1 they explain it's artificial, unstable and can't exist naturally
I guess you haven't heard that Brad Wright has been writing new Stargate material lately, he's getting all the pieces in place to get the franchise moving quickly. I am excited!
Brad's been doing that for a while now, and yes I've heard, though I am concerned that he will forget pieces of the Lore like they were close to the end of SGA
Naquada is used to build a lot of stuff, including the gate - used to power staffs and other weapons and used in most generators which are based on Naquada.
Naquadria is a radioactive, very unstable, but much more power version of Naquada - it was artificially created by modifying natural naquada. When they tried to use it as a power source, it was so unstable they couldn't make reliable hyperspace passages with it.
Well it's true that mistakes do happen in the script, I don't know if they forget the lore.
But if you remember that famous quote about Destiny being sent out hundreds of thousands of years, when it was more like many many millions of years lol.
The writers admitted that was a Miss quote, which is too bad because it could have been fixed before they at least it to DVD at least, but they just left it as is.
Honestly Rush's quote is more acceptable as the character was in a semi delusional state at that moment
I generally don't like big companies like amazon buying other companies.
Don't know what they do with Stargate. But through there shop they can collect tons of data. So they know exactly how popular the franchise is.
Even better: they can compare it's popularity to that of other sci fi shows from that time.
We'll see if to amazon it seems popular enough to produce more of it
What do you think?
