We’re the Tollan able to build a stargate because of there friendship with the nox?

Most likely the Nox are part of the Alliance of 4 and once they seen the Tollan level of technology probably deemed them worthy of assistance.
Basically to why the Tau'ri did refuse to help the Langarans, to why they did want Jonas to return as he had massive knowledge of the alien technologies.
Also why the Tau'ri did refuse to help the Eurondans.
The Tauri are secretive little pricks that invade other galaxies, screw up their delicate cosmic geopolitics and then make off with the only working Ancient superweapon city ship back to their own galaxy to hoard it. They've invaded two galaxies (the Pegasus galaxy and the Ori one) and in both cases they made a mess of things. They've also skyjacked numerous Ancient ships and have blown up at least one of them. The Tauri are dangerous. They're mostly a danger to themselves but when they do figure shit out then they become a danger to those around them too.
Source: I live on the Tauri home world... You know, the one called "Earth".
I don't think so.
@Airsoftwinner Ori Galaxy wasn't by choice, as the Ori were the ones invading ours to wipe out anyone who didn't bow down to them, once they were defeated we apparently left them alone.
@Oberoth20 yeah well whose idea was it to bring along the Milky Way Replicators for the ride while we were trying to invade the Ori Galaxy in retaliation eh? It seems we have good intentions but piss poor execution of our own battle plan. :-D
Also, I failed to continue my earlier point about the "secretive" part; I meant to continue on to point out that most of humanity is in the dark about the IOC/IOA and most of the SG program. At least the Goauld had the balls to be open about it, and the colossal raw ambitions of the Ori were quite transparent, if not their religious fraudulence. The Tau'ri, on the other hand, hid their cosmic misdeeds from their people like sneaking grandkids caught red handed with their fingers still inside the choco cookie jar.
@Airsoftwinner Though the Replicators were the IOA's actions, they were limited to Odyssey and didn't cost any local inhabitants.
Though the SG program is kept secret it is done so for good reason, let's be honest, there would be riots, or even all out war on Earth if the SG program went public.
@Oberoth20 that second part is just propaganda. Useful to the dudes who're already in power. Just as IRL, so it is in the Stargate franchise lore, too. I don't buy any of it.
Not entirely, the riots would happen, whether small or large scale, they would happen.
The US, UK, Russia, France and Chia wouldn't trust most nations, especially those like North Korea and Iran with advanced technology, and there are many others that they'd deny the tech to for various reasons or deny some tech to, and a war would likely ensue, the only way to avoid war after full disclosure would be to hold the other nations at the end of a gun by threatening to wipe them out if they try anything, and with that possibility keeping them in the dark is better for all.
@Airsoftwinner It wasn't just the Tau'ri which meddled with other planets. We saw many gate-capable systems vying for the ability to go to other worlds and control intergalactic politics. They literally go out of their way to take out the Wraith and help engineer anti-wraith vaccines to peoples who the Tau'ri don't even think can help them properly, and they're constantly seen helping and monitoring galactic disease levels to see if theres any Ori or Wraith illnesses. Also, in both cases, the Tau'ri didn't "invade" the Pegasus and Ori galaxies. With the former, they set up a peaceful expedition, with the latter, they literally did it for the sole purpose of defeating the Ori. Its no more unjustified than the allied landings on the beaches of Normandy during D-Day. The Travelers take Ancient ships too, and the Genii, Aschen and a plethora of other interplanetary governments have attempted to secure power using gates too. Also, the stargate program is under wraps because if they were to release info that they were literally sending people to other planets, what do you think would happen? All of a sudden, the stargate would become a political hotbed. Who controls it? Who decides which teams are qualified? How do you keep top secret info on classified technology secret? Who assumes the risk and responsibility of quelling an interplanetary invasion if the stargate is used offensively like with Anubis or the shapeshifters? What about nations not in the IOA? What about public interest? Millions, if not billions of people would be clamouring to go to other planets. Companies would want to open up mining and farms on other worlds and people would wish to send refugees over to different planets too. To control this and stop a potential world war, the program remains secret for the time being. The Goa'uld aren't as much "open" about it as they are masquerading as literal gods, so obviously they could show their Bronze age populous anything and say its proof of their godhood. Same thing with the Ori. They can claim all their tech is proof of the Ori's existence and thus need for their worship, so obviously they can do the same thing as well. We literally see what happens on similarly advanced planets as Earth when the stargate is accidentally made public. Heck, on one planet, it caused 2 ballistic missle wars, a coup, a religious uprising, and secessionist movements all within like 3 years!
What do you think?
