How do symbiotes heal the host when they don’t move throughout the body?
They might have a way to make & send stem cells (maybe a similar serum, etc) to the injured parts. That with controlling the nervous system, I suppose will focus efforts on healing, & neglect other parts that can wait for a sarcophagi dip.
Maybe they are doing something to the blood.
Not a stupid question. But it might be easier to listen to what doc Frasier says about the goa,uld whenever she has to deal with the symbotes.
One thought is, we know that the Alterans (Ancients) had healing powers because of their brain use capacity. What if the Go’auld and Tok’ra are able to stimulate the same parts of the brain to achieve healing? Another thought is, they can somehow use the naquadah as some kind of healing element the same way they use it to power their other technology.
The nahquda helps in the healing. But it's more like it's a boost in their natural healing process.
It's also possible that the symbote does move around these other parts of the body, I mean we have only seenwhere the symbote is when it's controlling the host, we have never seen itmove from there, however the jaffa have them located in their bellies which might have more to do with the healing process as in the human body, it's where we get most of our nutrients which our bodies absorb what we need in order to survive.
A jaffa with out an symbote will eventually die because the symbote was taking the place of the natural immune system, however this does make me wonder why tratonin works as it's more like a drug being administered within the body.
Thanks everyone
