In SG1, season 8, episode 1, the replicators that were “bound” by the time dilation device were being in the process of being consumed by a black hole. In fact they were already in the even horizon. Thor stated that the Asgard had calculated that the relative time for the replicators to disable the time dilation device was 2 years (which in of itself is relative because a year is one earth orbit of the sun but that’s a separate topic). That’s just to push a button. In this episode it was stated by Thor that they altered the device to counteract the time dilation that occurs from being so close to the singularity of the black hole. What I’m stating is that it still would take them awhile (not smart enough to do the exact calculations) to alter the device because of the time dilation, not caused by the device but because of the black hole itself. Can any of my fellow amateur nerds confirm this? lol
