I really enjoy sg1 and Atlantis even Universe. I have not watched the new series. Wish Atlantis & universe had continued a bit.

Dillon Everett (The Lost Years)

Does it seem weird that Dillon Everett never asked for his lost years. They could have maybe asked Todd to give Dillon the lost years? Because after all Todd was on Atlantis several times. John got his lost years back.

Stargate Universe.

To be honest I did not enjoy Stargate Universe. Seriously? What is that? I only liked watching Common Descent, Epilogue. At the end of Season 1 it should have ended with having the Destiny Expedition stranded on Novus.

Why would/did Anubis risk antagonizing the Asgard?

As I'm rewatching the series for probably the 50th time, this question has been nagging me since Revelations.
I understand that Anubis's dalliance with the ascended plane may have afforded him some insight into the Asgard's affairs and their preoccupation with the replicators, something I don’t really see as too likely, but that doesn't really explain why he would directly attack what is very likely the only Milky Way planet under Asgard protection that would absolutely necessitate a response from them.
Yes, he had upgraded his Ha’tak ships with more advanced shields and weapons than other Goa’uld vessels and apparently even Bilskirnir-type Asgard ships, but it’s implied by Thor that the initial victory was due to him having underestimated the new vessels and further, at the end of the episode, that O’Neill-class ships would be a bit more of a threat. Also, I’m being diplomatic here; it’s my personal opinion that the Bilskirnir-class was at least a millennium-old design, given that they are mentioned in Jaffa legends and a Jaffa’s extended lifespan, and the O’Neill, being also designed primarily as a warship, would have absolutely no problem dealing with the upgraded vessels, even if outnumbered.
The thing is, regardless of how these ships fare against one another, Anubis would have known that the Asgard would pose a significant threat to the success of his plans if they were drawn into a conflict, yet he seemed intent on forcing their hand. Attacking an uninhabitable planet containing the last remaining Asgard ancestor and their primary lab focused on researching a cure for their genetic problems forces them to shift their attention, even if momentarily, to the Milky Way.
At the time of the initial attack, he couldn’t have had any idea that there weren’t any other vessels available and that a Bilskirnir would be sent instead of an O’Neill. I can rationalize this as being the reason Osiris was the one conducting the attack and not Anubis himself. But, after antagonizing them, he proceeds to then probe Thor’s mind and extract important information, detailed enough for him to replicate their transporter technology.
What would have happened had he killed Thor and/or destroyed the cargo ship before Freyr arrived with his "modest" fleet? Anyway, sorry for the rant, just wanted to get that out there and see what folks thing.
Also, for f#&k’s sake, please don’t say anything to the effect of “fictional works are fiction created by non-fictional individuals influenced by non-fictional circumstances.” That’s like writing an essay analyzing Beowulf’s fight with Grendel’s mother by saying that such an analysis is impossible because they are fictional characters who don’t exist. Technically, you’re not wrong, but that wasn’t the assignment…so, you get an F.

Cameron Mitchell (1929)

There is a question that was bothering me, because when Ba'al changed the history and Cameron was never born in the alternative time he was protected when they were inside the wormhole, during the ten years he was in 1929 to 1939 which he did end the damage which was caused. Could he met someone and started a family like on Epilogue or he spent his life alone until he died of old age sometime between 1939 and 2008?

Stargate Transportation Rings Sound

Can anyone tell me what or where this sound effect is from?  I've scoured the internet for what the origin of this sound is and I haven't been able to find anything.

Distasteful Actions.

To be honest I think it was distasteful to betray Niam's faction because of what Koracen did. Why did they betray the faction they were to be Organic Asurans? I did not like it.

Talk Page Issue

I've been experiencing an issue with the talk pages on Stargate Wiki, specifically, lately. How it should be working is that, on every page, a link to that page's talk page is included in the dropdown menu (next to the 'Edit' button). However recently, I've noticed the following:

On article pages, 'Talk' is absent from the dropdown
On Talk pages, 'Talk' is included in the dropdown (which is completely redundant).
Is anyone else having this issue? Images are provided below.

Ark of Truth & the Wraith

Could the Tau'ri use the Ark of Truth on the Wraith and make them all think that they only eat vegetables or something. Though, I suppose you'd need to use it on them one-at-a-time given how they don't have anything like the prior staffs, which are all linked together.
(I feel like I'm 10 years late with this post)

Zero Point Module.

I have never been able to understand things when they had the understanding of Zero Point Module. Why didn't the Atlantis Expedition try to reverse engineer their adaptation of Zero Point Module? After all they have learned to do many other things. They could have made recharger which is recharged by environmental renewable energy and their energy crisis would be solved or use the Asgard Computer Core and make a list to make their new rechargeable Zero Point Modules?

Message from a FANDOM user

I'm trying to remember the episode of Stargate Atlantis (I think) where for some reason they lodge a puddle jumper outside of a spaceship by extending the drive pods in a tight section. Anyone know what episode I'm talking about?

Possibilities!!! STAR GATE ALLIANCE WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO WRITE STAR GATE NOVELS!!

Wouldn't it be cool to see a new Stargate Atlantis book series launch. One that doesn't follow the Atlantis Expedition but follows a group of humans in the Pegasus Galaxy that have banded together to fight back the Wraith. It is a possibility as the las we saw of the Pegasus Galaxy, the coalition was started to form out of the choas of the galaxy so I reckon seeing a new group rise in the time the Expedition left the galaxy. Throughout the series, you hear that the City of Atlantis is the only hope in the galaxy but after that was taken from them what do you do. People would be desperate so enters the Stargate Alliance

The Plague that made the Ancients leave the Milky Way Galaxy

I for one do not believe that the Ori sent the plague that made the Ancients leave the Milky Way. I mean, how could they, if they didn't even know where the Milky Way was until Daniel & Vala got caught up in the long range communications device & Daniel blabbed off everything. I believe that the Ancients caused their own downfall by experimenting on some sort of virus or bacterium or something of the sort and it got away from them.
